Ethereal Exploration Guild sets sights on 2027 for Razor Crest Mk-1 full-flight demo

Bengaluru-based Ethereal Exploration Guild is positioning itself as a pioneer in India’s spacetech sector by targeting a full-flight demonstration of its flagship reusable launch vehicle, the Razor Crest Mk-1, by March 2027.

The startup secured $5 million in seed funding last year from prominent investors such as YourNest, BIG Capital, Campus Fund, BlueHill Capital, and Golden Sparrow, underscoring strong market confidence.

“We aim to be India’s first spacetech company to operate reusable launching vehicles,” the company stated, highlighting its ambition to revolutionize launch operations.

Ethereal Exploration Guild was also selected as one of seven startups under the Indo-US defense innovation bridge, reflecting its strategic importance. The company is developing dual-use orbital platforms with significant upmass and downmass capabilities, designed to serve both commercial and defense interests.

“Our dual-use platforms will support commercial payloads and strategic missions, enhancing India’s space capabilities,” the company added.

The Razor Crest Mk-1’s full-flight demo in 2027 will mark a significant milestone for India’s reusable launch vehicle ambitions, potentially reducing costs and increasing launch frequency.

With a strong financial backing and strategic partnerships, Ethereal Exploration Guild is set to make a notable impact in the emerging Indian spacetech ecosystem.
