PM Modi launches solar power projects in Bikaner, reinforcing India's clean energy commitment

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated a series of solar power projects in Bikaner, highlighting India's ongoing commitment to clean energy. The projects include a 300 MW ground-mounted solar initiative by NEEPCO and a 100 MW project by SJVN in Nawa.

During the event, Modi emphasized the significance of these projects within a larger framework of development, which includes investments totaling Rs 26,000 crore in Rajasthan. He stated, "Today, even the world is surprised seeing the developmental works being carried out by India," citing examples of major infrastructure projects like the Chenab Bridge and the Sela Tunnel.

The Prime Minister also noted that over 1300 railway stations are being modernized across the country, with a total investment of over Rs 1,100 crore. This modernization effort is part of India's broader strategy to enhance its transportation network and promote sustainable energy solutions.

Modi's remarks reflect a vision of a technologically advanced India, as he mentioned the introduction of new train services like Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat, which symbolize the country's progress in technology and infrastructure.
