Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata eyes Bollywood after Telangana's warm welcome

Miss World 2025 winner Opal Suchata Chungsi received a warm welcome in Telangana, India, where she was the chief guest at a tea party hosted by the state Governor Shri Jishnu Devvarma and attended by Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy.

Opal, who brought Thailand its first Miss World crown, expressed her pride and happiness, saying, "I feel very happy and proud. It is an honour to take the first Miss World crown to Thailand... I hope I have made them proud...If I get the opportunity, I would love to (act in Bollywood films); it is a wonderful opportunity..."

She praised the hospitality and cultural richness of Telangana, stating that since her arrival in India, "everyone has been so nice" and "people are amazing." The winners of the Miss World competitions collectively expressed their admiration for Telangana's cultural splendor, vowing to remember the state forever.

Expressing gratitude for the arrangements made by the Telangana government, Opal added, "I would like to thank the Telangana government and all the people here for providing us with the best accommodation and allowing us to have such a great time in your home."
