Jeetendra Kapoor sells Mumbai land for ₹855 crore: NTT Global Data Centers expands cloud footprint

Bollywood actor Jeetendra Kapoor and his family have sold a significant land parcel in Mumbai's Andheri area to NTT Global Data Centers for ₹855 crore, marking a strategic expansion for the cloud infrastructure firm.

The transaction, registered on May 29, 2025, involved two adjoining land parcels covering 9,664.68 square meters (approximately 2.39 acres). The site currently houses the Balaji IT Park, which comprises three buildings with a combined built-up area of about 4.9 lakh square feet.

NTT Global Data Centers and Cloud Infrastructure India Private Limited, formerly known as Netmagic IT Services, acquired the property. The company specializes in technology services including cloud solutions, hosting, data management, cybersecurity, and application development.

"The acquisition aligns with our goal to expand our cloud footprint in India," a company representative said.

The deal attracted a stamp duty of ₹8.69 crore and registration fees of ₹30,000, reflecting the high-value nature of the transaction.

This sale highlights the growing demand for data center infrastructure in India, driven by increasing digital transformation and cloud adoption across industries.
