The Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Agriculture (MCCIA) has committed to boosting early-stage funding for agritech startups, reinforcing Maharashtra's agricultural innovation ecosystem.

One notable beneficiary is Pune-based Canebot, which recently secured seed funding from Rahane. Canebot specializes in robotic sugarcane juice vending machines designed to reduce post-harvest losses and provide hygienic beverages to urban consumers.
