India's Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan issued a stern warning to Pakistan, stating India will not live under terror and nuclear blackmail following the brutal Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which killed 26 civilians.

The attack, claimed by a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba called The Resistance Front, prompted India to launch Operation Sindoor on May 7, targeting nine terrorist infrastructures inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

"The thinking behind Operation Sindoor was that state-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan had to stop," Chauhan said, emphasizing the need to end Pakistan's proxy war.

Pakistan had planned a swift offensive dubbed Operation Bunyan al-Marsoos on May 10, aiming to cripple India within 48 hours. However, the attacks collapsed within eight hours, forcing Pakistan to seek a ceasefire.

Chauhan described this as the first time India engaged in non-contact warfare, using radar and AI-powered predictive analysis to network its air defense architecture.

The ceasefire was announced shortly after, with India and Pakistan agreeing to stop all military actions on land, sea, and air.

The Pahalgam attack and subsequent Indian response have united the country against Pakistan's sponsorship of terrorism. BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, leading delegations abroad, highlighted Pakistan's terror infrastructure and called for international support.

"We believe in peace, we believe in amity, but we dont at all permit a situation that our innocent Indians are killed with impunity by terrorists," Prasad said.

Tharoor added, "If Pakistan is as innocent as it claims to be, why does it give safe haven to terrorists? Then, of course, we can talk."

The Indian High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami, affirmed the diplomatic mission's focus on disseminating India's message against terrorism as set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This episode underscores the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, with India resolute in its stance against terror and nuclear coercion.
