Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the efforts of all-party delegations that traveled to 33 international capitals and the European Union to highlight India’s united front against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism following Operation Sindoor.

The delegations, comprising over 50 members including current and former MPs and diplomats from ruling and opposition parties, conveyed India’s strong stance on terrorism and commitment to global peace. Modi emphasized that the participation of opposition members "sends a big message from India" to the world, showcasing national unity.

"India has been successful in giving the message that we are united against terrorism," Modi said, encouraging more such delegations to share India’s story globally.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who led one delegation, contrasted India’s diplomatic outreach with Pakistan’s, noting that New Delhi sent seven delegations while Islamabad dispatched only two.

This diplomatic campaign followed Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7 in response to the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists that killed 26 people. The Indian Armed Forces conducted targeted strikes against terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, eliminating over 100 terrorists affiliated with groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar praised the delegations’ efforts and reiterated India’s resolve to retaliate against terrorism regardless of its location in Pakistan. He warned, "If they are deep in Pakistan, we will go deep into Pakistan."

The all-party delegations included leaders such as BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijyant Panda, Congress’ Shashi Tharoor, JD(U)’s Sanjay Jha, Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Shinde, DMK’s Kanimozhi, and NCP (SP)’s Supriya Sule, each leading visits to different global regions.

This united diplomatic front aims to strengthen India’s global narrative against terrorism and highlight the country’s commitment to peace and security.
