Chris Evans lists LA home for $7M as he moves East after leaving Marvel

Chris Evans, the 43-year-old actor famed for his role as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has listed his Los Angeles home for $6.99 million, nearly doubling the $3.52 million he paid in 2013.

The four-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom 1940s-era property, described by listing agent Scott Moore of Christie's International Real Estate Southern California, features thoughtfully engineered retaining walls that maximize the hillside estate's usable area, showcasing meticulous design.

"Evans has chosen to part ways with the property because he wants to relocate back to the East Coast to live near his family members," Moore said.

Evans, who married Alba Baptista in 2023, appeared in 11 Marvel films before passing the iconic Captain America shield to Anthony Mackie at the start of 2025.

In 2023, Evans explained his departure from Marvel: "I would 'never say never' about returning to the franchise, but ultimately stepped down as Captain America out of a desire to spend less time focusing on my on-screen work."

This move marks a significant transition for Evans as he shifts focus from his blockbuster superhero career to personal life and new opportunities on the East Coast.
