The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) has entered a strategic partnership with NMexus, a New Mexico-based non-profit Special Purpose Vehicle, to foster global innovation across multiple high-tech sectors.

The collaboration focuses on clean and sustainable energy, aerospace, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, quantum computing, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. NMexus will leverage its Centre in the Mesa del Sol innovation district to support up to 40 companies annually.

"This partnership with NMexus 22 reflects IIT Kanpur 27s continued commitment to expanding international collaborations that support high-impact research and innovation," said Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur.

The initiative is projected to generate approximately 1,500 jobs and contribute over USD 400 million to the New Mexico economy within the next five years.
