Startup Odisha and PhonePe Private Limited have formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at digitally empowering startups in Odisha.
The MoU, signed at O-Hub, Startup Odisha's headquarters, by Kamaljit Das, Chief Administrative Officer of Startup Odisha, and Yuvraj Singh Shekhawat, Chief Business Officer, Merchant Business at PhonePe, seeks to provide startups seamless access to PhonePe’s digital payment and business technology services.
"This collaboration reflects the vision of Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), MSME and Chairman, Startup Odisha, who has been instrumental in forging global and national corporate partnerships to nurture the state’s startup ecosystem," the announcement noted.
The partnership is designed to foster ease of doing business and accelerate growth by promoting a cashless, technology-driven business environment across various platforms in Odisha.
"The MoU is set to facilitate seamless digital payment services for startups," enhancing their operational efficiency and market reach.
