Nvidia’s Jensen Huang reveals Europe’s AI surge: 20 factories, gigawatt data centers

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang revealed a significant surge in Europe’s artificial intelligence infrastructure, forecasting a tenfold increase in AI computing capacity within two years. This growth is driven by the development of over 20 AI factories across the continent, signaling a robust commitment to AI technology.

"Europe has now awakened to the importance of these AI factories," Huang stated, emphasizing the continent’s strategic focus on AI advancements. Nvidia is playing a pivotal role by supplying chips for nearly every major AI computing project underway in Europe.

"Several of massive data centers will have more than a gigawatt of capacity, potentially ranking them among the largest in the world," Huang said during a joint event with the VivaTech tech conference in Paris.
