Zurich-based xorlab has raised €5 million in a Series A+ funding round to expand its email security solutions across Europe, particularly in the DACH region, Benelux, and the Nordics. The round was led by Spicehaus Partners, with participation from Grapha Holding, EquityPitcher Ventures, and ZKB Start-up Finance.1234
The funding comes as enterprises face increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks, with email being a primary entry point for threats. Daniel Andres, Founding Partner at Spicehaus Partners, stated, “xorlab has built something rare: differentiated technology solving a mission-critical problem, validated by some of Europe’s most demanding enterprise customers.”
The company aims to address the growing regulatory pressures from frameworks like DORA and NIS2, which hold organizations accountable for their digital resilience. xorlab’s platform is designed to protect European organizations against advanced email attacks while maintaining control over their data and infrastructure.8

“Europe needs its own cybersecurity champions,” said Antonio Barresi, CEO and co-founder of xorlab. “Email remains one of the most critical attack surfaces, and AI is fundamentally changing the threat landscape.” The platform supports compliance with DORA, NIS2, and GDPR, serving various sectors including finance, healthcare, and public services.6
Notable customers include Julius Bär, Swisscom, Vontobel, G+D, and CERN.
