VyomIC raises $1.6 million in pre-seed funding led by Speciale Invest to enhance spoofing-proof navigation technology.

VyomIC, a start-up poised to redefine navigation technology, raised $1.6 million in pre-seed funding led by Speciale Invest. The funds will be directed toward enhancing their LEO-based PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) payload and supporting a spaceborne demonstration mission.
The company's technology aims to deliver spoofing-proof and jamming-resistant signals, addressing challenges faced by current systems like GPS and GLONASS. According to co-founder Vibhor Jain, “We are not just building an Indian alternative to GPS—we are building a next-gen global system, engineered for autonomy, security, and precision.”
Managing Partner at Speciale Invest, Vishesh Rajaram, emphasized the importance of resilient navigation in today’s world: “In a world increasingly shaped by autonomy, defence tech, and time-critical infrastructure, resilient navigation becomes non-negotiable.”
With this strategic funding, VyomIC aims to scale its team hiring efforts and boost its business development, reinforcing its commitment to innovation in navigation technology.
