- The/Nudge Foundation has launched TILT, a ₹250 crore venture fund aimed at supporting early-stage impact startups.
TILT has launched a Rs 250 crore venture fund to back early-stage impact startups, focusing on sectors like agriculture, climate resilience, and financial inclusion. The fund aims to invest in 150 startups over the next 15 years, with a goal to positively impact 100 million lives.1
The fund will primarily target Seed to Series A-stage startups, offering investment cheques ranging from Rs 2 crore to Rs 16 crore. Unlike traditional venture capital, TILT's model emphasizes patient capital, allowing businesses the time needed to develop products and establish sustainable models.
TILT will also provide extensive support beyond capital, including research, market development, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem infrastructure. This approach aims to help founders create businesses that are both commercially viable and socially impactful.
The fund is backed by the Livelihood Impact Fund and notable entrepreneurs and investors such as Deep Kalra, Amit Gupta, Hari Menon, Binny Bansal, the Raj & Indra Nooyi Family Office, and Vidit Aatrey. Founded by Richa Singh and Atul Satija, TILT builds on The/Nudge Foundation’s eight years of experience in supporting social enterprises and livelihood-focused businesses.
“The fund aims to positively impact 100 million lives through its investments and wider ecosystem initiatives. TILT's 15-year horizon signals a long-term commitment to nurturing India's next billion entrepreneurs.”
