Startup Odisha has taken a significant step towards empowering local startups by signing a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with
PhonePe, a leading digital payment platform. The MoU was signed by
Kamaljit Das, Chief Administrative Officer of Startup Odisha, and
Yuvraj Singh Shekhawat, Chief Business Officer at PhonePe.
This partnership aims to enhance the ease of doing business for startups registered with Startup Odisha, allowing them to access PhonePe's comprehensive suite of
digital payment and
business technology services. This initiative is expected to help startups streamline their operations, improve customer experiences, and scale their businesses more effectively.
The efforts behind this collaboration reflect the vision of
Hemant Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary of the MSME Department and Chairman of Startup Odisha, who has been instrumental in fostering corporate partnerships to benefit the state's startup ecosystem.
