Procam International announced the event, which has evolved since its inception in 2004 into one of the world’s largest participative movements, inspiring millions through sport, health, and philanthropy.
“The spirit of the marathon is always greater than the numbers,” said Varma, emphasizing the event's role in uniting people from diverse backgrounds.
The marathon, designated a World Athletics Gold Label Race, will feature a total prize purse of USD 389,524, attracting elite athletes and amateur runners alike.
The race will commence from the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, further enhancing its significance as a cultural and sporting event.
In a bid to promote inclusivity, the marathon has reserved spots for women and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), encouraging broader participation.

“The Tata Mumbai Marathon has never been just about crossing a finish line—it is a celebration of human potential,” said Vivek Singh, Joint Managing Director of Procam International.
The event also introduces a unique Runner’s Passport initiative in partnership with Air India Express, offering discounts on flights for participants.
