Equipped with telescopic forks and dual rear shock absorbers, the scooter promises a smooth ride. The larger alloy wheels and a disc brake setup at both ends enhance its performance.
Although technical specifications are yet to be disclosed, it is anticipated to house a centrally mounted electric motor generating 7.1 kW and achieving a top speed of 100 km/h.
The Rasad is expected to premiere in Q4 2026, with local assembly planned at VinFast's factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. This move aligns with VinFast's strategy to penetrate the Indian market, following the recent patent filings for other electric models.
The Rasad could create a new sub-category in the electric two-wheeler segment, as maxi-scooters have predominantly been available in the ICE segment until now.
