An Indian parliamentary delegation led by JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha visited Jakarta as part of a diplomatic mission to brief Indonesian officials on Operation Sindoor and India's resolute stance against terrorism.

The delegation, which included members from BJP, Trinamool Congress, CPI(M), Congress, and a former Indian Ambassador, engaged with Indonesian government officials, parliamentarians, political leaders, ASEAN representatives, and the Indian community.

"This diplomatic outreach, part of Operation Sindoor, aims to garner international support and highlight Pakistan's connection to terrorism following the Pahalgam attack," the delegation emphasized.

They sensitized Indonesian counterparts, including Muhammad Husein Fadlulloh and Muhammad Rofiqi, on India's zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and the recent successful execution of Operation Sindoor, which dismantled terror hideouts in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir without harming civilians.

Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee stated, "Where I might differ with the ruling dispensation or the political party, I will fight with them tooth and nail. But when it comes to the national security of my country, I will stand firmly and serve towards what is in the best interest of my nation."

The delegation also highlighted evidence of cross-border terror support, including the presence of high-ranking Pakistani military officials at terrorists' funerals.

They stressed, "India will give a fitting reply if there is a terrorist attack on India, will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail, and will not differentiate between the government sponsoring terrorism and the masterminds of terrorism."

This outreach follows similar visits to Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Bahrain, and Kuwait, aiming to build a global coalition against terrorism and push for Pakistan's blacklisting in the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

The mission underscores India's commitment to counterterrorism as a borderless fight requiring united international cooperation.
