Bahrain pledges support to India at OIC and FATF against Pakistan, says BJP MP Dubey

An all-party Indian parliamentary delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, met Bahrain's Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to discuss India's challenges with cross-border terrorism and seek support against Pakistan.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey emphasized Bahrain's historical alliance with India and expressed confidence that Bahrain would support India at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). He stated, "Bahrain will definitely support us at two places – in OIC where Bahrain is not with Pakistan and Turkey, and also at the FATF."

The delegation highlighted India's commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms, underscoring the significance of international cooperation. AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, also part of the delegation, referenced India's recent military action, saying, "India targeted nine terror camps. Pakistan was taught a lesson on May 9 and May 10 at the airbase."

This visit is part of a broader diplomatic effort, with seven multi-party delegations tasked to visit 33 global capitals to raise awareness about Pakistan's designs and India's response to terrorism.
