Mykhailo Mudryk, Chelsea's talented winger, has been reinstated to the club after the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned his four-year doping ban. The ban, initially imposed by the FA in June 2025 after a positive test for meldonium, was challenged by Mudryk, who maintained he had never knowingly used banned substances.¹⁴⁵

"After a long battle, the four-year ban that was imposed on me has been rescinded, and I am free to resume my career with immediate effect," Mudryk stated. He expressed gratitude for the resolution, emphasizing, "I have never knowingly or intentionally taken any banned substance."⁶

Since his suspension began in November 2024, Mudryk has been training alone, barred from Chelsea's facilities. The club has consistently supported him, issuing a statement expressing their satisfaction with the conclusion of the matter, allowing him to return to football immediately.

Mudryk is set to join Chelsea's preseason camp under new manager Xabi Alonso, as the team prepares for a fresh start. With the departure of Alejandro Garnacho to Aston Villa and ongoing concerns about Estevao's hamstring issues, there may be opportunities for Mudryk to reintegrate into the squad.
