Rajeev Shukla is set to become the interim president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after Roger Binny steps down due to the board's age-limit rule.
According to the BCCI constitution, no office-bearer can hold a position beyond the age of 70. Binny, a member of India's 1983 World Cup-winning team, will turn 70 on July 19, 2025, making him ineligible to continue as president.
