xAI has launched Grok Imagine Video 1.5, a significant upgrade in its image-to-video technology, which promises to enhance creative workflows. The new model is described as the company’s "best image-to-video model yet," featuring improved motion, physics, audio quality, and speed of generation.12
The launch comes amid fierce competition among AI firms to convert simple prompts or images into realistic videos. Grok Imagine Video 1.5 addresses long-standing issues in AI models, such as unnatural bending of objects and awkward floating of characters. The introduction of Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Fast nearly doubles the generation speed of its predecessor, allowing users to create six-second videos at a resolution of 720p in about 25 seconds, down from over 40 seconds with the previous model.
