A 23-year-old worker tragically died on August 3 when scaffolding collapsed onto the lorry he was driving at a construction site along Jurong Port Road. The incident occurred around 9:50 AM as a formwork structure was being repositioned from the fifth storey of a building under construction.17
Upon arrival, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) found the worker trapped in the driver's seat.
