Wealthtech startup Veriqus Group has raised Rs 387 crore (about $40 million) in a funding round led by Norwest Venture Partners. The funds will be utilized to develop an integrated wealth and asset management platform, focusing on technology and AI capabilities.156
Founded by Roshi Jain and Anand Khatau, Veriqus aims to serve high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), family offices, and institutions. The company currently collaborates with over 500 wealth creators managing assets worth Rs 1.2 lakh crore.3

The funding will support product development, enhancing advisor productivity, portfolio insights, and client engagement through AI. “Veriqus intends to build a strong presence across Tier II and other high-growth cities,” said Ashish Gumashta, co-founder and former CEO of Julius Baer India. The startup plans to offer a comprehensive suite of services, including wealth management, asset management, business advisory, and lending, all on a single platform.47

Veriqus will adopt an open-architecture model, allowing clients to select from a broader range of investment products. The firm’s strategy aligns with the growing demand for sophisticated investment solutions as India’s wealth management industry expands, driven by rising incomes and financialisation of savings.
The company’s focus on AI will sharpen portfolio analysis, monitor risk, and enhance client reporting and investment decisions, positioning Veriqus as a key player in the evolving wealthtech landscape in India.
