The new lineup will boast a 7,200mAh battery with 90W fast charging, marking a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the V70 series. The V80 series is anticipated to be priced between ₹50,000 and ₹60,000, competing directly with the V70 series, which is currently positioned as a premium yet value-oriented offering from Vivo.
Rumors suggest that the V80 series may be a rebranding of the Vivo S60 series that launched in China last month, with incremental upgrades expected due to the short time frame since the V70 series launch.
