Iranian state media aired video threatening Barron Trump, starting with 'Where to Kill Barron Trump'; Secret Service aware, $10M reward claimed

The U.S. Secret Service is investigating a video aired by Iranian state media that threatens Barron Trump, President Trump's youngest son. The nearly three-minute clip begins with the phrase 'Where to Kill Barron Trump' and claims he is under surveillance, detailing his locations and security arrangements.⁵⁶

The video, which aired on state-run Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, also mentions a $10 million reward for efforts against Barron Trump. Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring confirmed, “The U.S. is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees.” However, TIME could not verify the claims made in the video, which lacked evidence of actual surveillance or compromised security.¹²³⁴

This incident follows a similar video targeting First Lady Melania Trump, which depicted vulnerabilities in her security and ended with the phrase, ‘Barron Trump, wait for us!’ Threats against Trump and his family have escalated since his first term, particularly after the U.S. airstrike that killed a top Iranian commander in early 2020. U.S. Secret Service Deputy Director Matt Quinn noted, “I don’t think it’s any secret—it’s been in the media that Iran has publicly said they want to kill President Donald Trump.” In response, Trump has warned that any Iranian attempt on his life would lead to the ‘decimation’ of Iran.
