The Hide Gear option allows players to conceal the blowpipe by pressing R2 in the inventory screen, addressing community feedback. Ubisoft stated, “We saw your feedback, and we have given players the option to hide the ‘Blow Pipe’ from Edward’s back.” This feature is part of a broader effort to enhance gameplay, which includes increasing the number of autosaves from 5 to 10 and fixing various bugs.

Among the fixes, the update resolves issues such as cutscenes being locked at 30 FPS on PC and incorrect localization in Simplified Chinese. Additionally, players will benefit from improved gameplay mechanics, including fixes for enemy interactions and fast travel issues. Ubisoft aims to continue supporting the popular remake with future updates, including a New Game Plus mode.
