Two MLAs, Anil Jha of the AAP and Abhay Patil of the BJP, were injured in a car crash in central Delhi on Sunday night. The incident occurred when a hatchback, driven by a 32-year-old man from Arya Nagar, lost control and collided with their SUV near the PWD headquarters on Vikas Marg.1
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Rohit Ranbir Singh, the police received a call about the crash around 9:30 PM. Upon arrival, they found two damaged vehicles, both with Delhi registration numbers. All six individuals involved in the crash sustained minor injuries and were transported to Lok Nayak Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.3
The hatchback driver was traveling with his wife and two minor children towards ITO from Laxmi Nagar when he hit a road divider, crossed the railing, and entered the opposite carriageway, colliding with the SUV. The collision caused significant damage to the vehicles, particularly the front portion of the SUV. The Fire Brigade was called to assist in removing the damaged vehicles and clearing the roadway.
