A trainee pilot and an instructor died when a Tecnam training aircraft crashed near Ganga Barrage in Kanpur on Thursday. The aircraft, operated by Garg Aviation, took off at 11:30 am and crashed approximately 20 minutes later near Nathapurwa village.

According to the civil aviation ministry, both individuals sustained fatal injuries during the accident.
