- Epstein boasted at Microsoft AI Tour Tel Aviv 2026 about using AI to create sports content without human input, including automated highlights and kids' programming with voice cloning.
- AI analyzes the game in real time, identifies what is interesting, and produces all kinds of content for digital, television, and every platform, Epstein stated.
- WSC Studios has been established to use generative models for text, audio, image, and video, creating sports content for kids.
- Partnership with Kan 11 allows WSC Sports to create content for World Cup coverage, providing live updates and match summaries.
- AI has resulted in significant reductions in staff due to the automation of the content-sharing process, according to Epstein.
WSC Sports is at the forefront of AI-driven sports content creation, as highlighted by its executive, Epstein, during the Microsoft AI Tour in Tel Aviv. He stated that the company produces sports content automatically, without any human input, which has led to a significant reduction in staff.
The technology allows for real-time analysis of games, identifying key moments and generating content for various platforms, including digital and television. Epstein emphasized that this innovation enables the creation of personalized sports content tailored to individual preferences, stating, “With AI, you can create much more personalized, local sports content, where everyone can see only what they want, when they want, where they want.”
WSC Sports has partnered with Kan 11 to provide live updates and summaries during events like the World Cup, ensuring that viewers receive timely and relevant information. Epstein noted, “Everyone who watches sports content in Israel also receives stories through us that are updated live during the game.”
In addition to adult sports content, WSC has launched WSC Studios, which focuses on creating engaging programming for children. This includes characters like Alley and Oop, who teach kids about the NBA through an illustrated digital series. Epstein explained, “They teach kids about the players, the game, and the teams, and that’s part of what we’re doing to connect the next generation to sports.”3
Despite the advancements, experts caution that AI systems can struggle with accurately analyzing and labeling sports events, raising questions about the reliability of fully automated content generation.
“Epstein said AI analyzes games in real time, identifying highlights for digital and TV, and that WSC’s World Cup coverage in Israel is entirely AI-produced. He also noted the company built a new division, WSC Studios, which uses generative models to create kids’ content with cloned-voice characters like Alley and Oop.”
