Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have released the Confrontation Update, the final major update for *Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2*, which is now available for free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. This update introduces two new PvP maps, Sanctum and Facility, designed for dynamic and fast-paced combat.123

The update also features a new enemy, the Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer, part of the formidable Thousand Sons faction, joining other Terminus-class enemies like the Carnifex and Helbrute. Players can now unlock six Heroic weapons, including a Melta Rifle variant and a Deathwatch-inspired Stalker Bolt Rifle, by earning Accolades through gameplay.4
In addition to the new maps and enemy, the update enhances PvP with new features such as Weekly Rewards for participation and Trials of Resolve #2, which offers four new challenging Ordeals for experienced players. Players can also earn medals and achievements that highlight their accomplishments during matches.

The Confrontation Update also includes two new DLCs for Season Pass 2 owners, featuring the Salamanders Champion and Raptors Cosmetic Pack, adding unique skins and cosmetic items to the game. This update marks a significant expansion of both PvP and PvE modes, ensuring players have plenty of new content to explore.
