The U.S. Marshals Service took the brothers into custody on a sealed warrant, according to spokesperson Brady McCarron. The U.K. Crown Prosecution Service announced a total of 38 new charges against the Tates, including allegations involving four additional victims.678
Joseph McBride, the attorney for the Tate brothers, criticized the new charges as “filth and slander” aimed at undermining their defamation lawsuits in the U.S. He expressed confidence that a competent judge would see the facts and that the Tates would be exonerated, stating, “America does not do Britain’s political dirty work.”45
The Tates, who moved to Romania in 2016, were previously arrested there in 2022 for allegedly luring women for sexual exploitation. They denied these allegations, and the Romanian case has faced legal hurdles. After being allowed to leave Romania, they traveled to Florida on a private jet.
Andrew Tate, known for his controversial online presence, has over 10 million followers on X but has been banned from several major platforms for violating hate speech guidelines. Karena Thomas, an assistant chief constable of the Bedfordshire Police, emphasized the commitment to supporting victims and investigating all reports of male violence against women.
