Sleep, the pioneering doom metal band, is set to embark on a North American tour starting September 8, 2026, in San Diego. This tour marks their first since 2018 and features a new lineup with Al Cisneros as the sole original member, joined by guitarist Bubba Dupree and drummer Dale Crover.1
The band has released a new single, "Have Spacesuit Will Travel," their first new music in eight years, showcasing a fresh sound while retaining their signature style. Cisneros expressed excitement about the new collaboration, stating, "The vibe of the first jam was obvious. It was blue sunglasses-era Iommi in the quality, and equally awesome is Bubba is also one of the coolest people I’ve been able to make music with."
The tour will cover major cities across the U.S. and Canada, concluding on November 17 in Washington, D.C. Notably, the band will perform at the Levitation Festival in Austin, Texas, on September 13. Tickets will go on artist pre-sale June 23 at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales starting June 25 at 10 a.m. local time.2
