Despite the innovative features, analysts express concern over rising chip prices, which could impact Samsung's profit margins. “The harder question is what justifies the price,” said Francisco Jeronimo, vice president at IDC. “A bigger screen alone is no longer enough.” Samsung's mobile division may face its first quarterly loss due to these rising costs, even as its semiconductor business thrives.
Pre-orders for the new models have begun, with availability set for August 7 in major markets.
