- The display now has a punch hole notch, instead of a teardrop; while the SoC is the 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (replacing the 5nm Exynos 1380).
- Samsung said the configuration is intended to support multitasking, web browsing, video streaming, gaming and on-device AI features.

The Galaxy A27 5G is available in three variants: ₹28,999 for the 6GB/128GB model, ₹31,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, and ₹37,499 for the 8GB/256GB variant. Samsung has made a significant commitment to software support, promising six years of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security updates.

The design includes a punch-hole front camera cutout, replacing the previous teardrop notch, and the device maintains a 5,000mAh battery capacity. However, the ultrawide camera has been downgraded to a 5MP sensor from the previous 8MP, and the phone's water resistance has been reduced from IP67 to IP64.68
Samsung aims to attract younger consumers with this model, which also features a refreshed design seen in the Galaxy A57 and A37, showcasing a color-accented camera island. The Galaxy A27 5G is now available in markets including the US, Europe, and India.
