Runable, founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda, has raised $21 million in a Series A funding round, co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners. The Bengaluru-based startup aims to enhance its growth tools and expand Runable Academy, which assists small business owners in scaling their operations.2
The funding will enable Runable to improve its marketing capabilities, including adding more channels and enhancing campaign measurement. The platform's AI agent will also gain the ability to independently identify and implement campaign changes. "Building software stopped being the hard part," said Umesh Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO of Runable. "Nobody starts a business because they want a landing page. They start it because they want customers and revenue. Software creation got automated. Everything after it didn't. That's what Runable is for," he added.
Runable has experienced rapid growth, achieving $2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) within three weeks of launch and attracting 1.5 million users. The company, which employs a 15-member team, provides tools for building websites, mobile applications, and managing business operations, including database management, payments, and customer support. Most users are small business owners, typically operating two-person businesses such as agencies or consultancies, and are located in markets including the US, UK, Japan, and Brazil.67
“The 15-member team plans to use the capital to add marketing channels, improve campaign measurement, and let its AI agent make campaign changes independently. Runable Academy, a free module for small business owners, will be scaled alongside hiring across engineering, machine learning, product, growth, and support.”
