Xiaomi's Redmi 17 5G is set to launch in India on September 3, 2026, featuring significant upgrades over its global counterpart. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset and will boast a 7,900mAh battery, larger than the 7,500mAh battery found in the global model.156
The device will support 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging, enhancing its usability for consumers. The 6.9-inch display will offer a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, making it suitable for gaming and multimedia consumption. The phone will also feature a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The Redmi 17 5G will be available in three color options: Absolutely Black, Endless Blue, and Eternal Orange, with the latter featuring a vegan leather finish.
