RayNeo has unveiled its latest innovations in smart glasses: the iO and GT. The iO model, which launches on September 4, is designed without a camera, focusing instead on AI capabilities such as voice assistance and real-time translation.78
The iO features a monochrome display with a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits and a 23.5-degree field of view. It is equipped with a quad-microphone array and a bone conduction sensor, allowing it to translate 55 languages and 109 accents in real-time with minimal latency. The glasses are lightweight at 33 grams and boast a battery life of up to two days or 18 hours of continuous recording.1234
In contrast, the GT model is designed for immersive viewing, capable of projecting a virtual screen of up to 307 inches with a 59-degree field of view. It features a quad-speaker setup co-tuned by Bang and Olufsen and supports Dolby Vision HDR content when connected to the RayNeo Pocket TV Pro.56
RayNeo aims to provide options for users who may be uncomfortable with camera-equipped devices, as seen in the iO's design. The company’s focus on AI features in the iO reflects a growing trend in the smart glasses market, prioritizing functionality over traditional camera capabilities.
“The iO glasses weigh 33g and offer real-time translation of 55 languages with about a second of latency, powered by Timekettle BabelOS 3.0. The GT Max can project a 307-inch virtual screen with a 59-degree field of view, and both GT models feature quad speakers co-tuned by Bang and Olufsen.”
