Nigel Farage says he won't attend Clacton count against Count Binface, citing 'sheer intolerance' and loss of democratic principles

Farage, speaking at a “Farage Fest” event, claimed he had secured more votes than during his previous win in the 2024 general election, calling it a “convincing, overwhelming win.” Despite this, he emphasized that he would not allow himself to be “demeaned and humiliated by nobodies” during the count.

The acting returning officer, Ian Davidson, confirmed that the decision to attend the count was Farage's, stating, “We work very closely with Essex police and have done so throughout this process.” He assured that a “robust policing operation” was in place to ensure the safety and security of the election process.
