Police are investigating a violent car ambush that left a 53-year-old man injured in Glasgow's Tollcross area on Friday night. The attack occurred around 9.30pm as the victim sat in his vehicle on Glenisla Street, where he was approached by two men wielding weapons.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to contact them. “If you were in the area on Friday evening and witnessed a disturbance, or noticed anything at all suspicious, please get in touch,” Howie added.
