The Pokémon Company has confirmed that the highly anticipated Bubbly Basin DLC for Pokémon Pokopia will launch on August 5. This expansion introduces an underwater town where players can explore and interact with new Pokémon such as Totodile and Finneon.123
The Bubbly Basin will feature a variety of aquatic Pokémon and allow players to build floating structures using new Buoyant Blocks. The expansion is part of a three-part Expansion Pass priced at $34.99, which also includes a free software update enabling underwater exploration and the ability to learn the move Dive from Manaphy.67
In addition to the new features, players who purchase the Expansion Pass will receive 30 rare Pokémetal ingots and a recipe for Dynamic Ditto print blocks. The second part of the expansion is set to release in late 2026, while the final part is scheduled for 2027 and will introduce a new town.
