During the 2026 PKR National Congress, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced an additional RM1 million allocation for each parliamentary constituency, aimed at addressing urgent community needs.1
"I carry this responsibility. I promised to help the poor," Anwar stated, highlighting the government's commitment to assist those affected by poverty and floods.2
He emphasized that the funds would be allocated directly to the people, regardless of their MPs' political affiliations.
"Allocations have never been reduced. In fact, today I want to announce an additional RM1 million for every parliamentary constituency, directly for the people," he reiterated.
