With this new capital, Starcloud aims to enhance its AI infrastructure through the development of orbital data centers. The funds will be allocated towards expanding manufacturing capacity, engineering collaborations with Nvidia, and procuring new products. Starcloud is ambitiously targeting a constellation of 88,000 satellites and aims to achieve 20 gigawatts of orbital compute capacity. To support these goals, the company is constructing a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Woodinville, Washington for its next-generation Starcloud-3 spacecraft.5

The startup has now raised a total of $450 million since its inception in 2024. Notably, Lauren Selig from Manhattan West has joined Starcloud's board as an observer, indicating strong investor confidence in the company's vision and potential.
