According to Interior Minister Laurent Nunez, the attack occurred around 11:30 AM (0930 GMT). One victim sustained injuries to her lower back, while another was wounded in the abdomen. Geoffroy Boulard, the mayor of the 17th arrondissement, noted that one of the victims was pregnant.
Witness Kheira Dellabed, a 54-year-old waitress, recounted the scene: “We saw a man walk by with two knives and stab three people. Then a young man with a small suitcase hit him with his bag, knocking him to the ground.”
