Nvidia enters Windows laptop market with RTX Spark; Partners with Microsoft to reinvent PCs for the age of personal AI.

Nvidia is poised to revolutionize the Windows laptop market with its new RTX Spark Superchip, which integrates advanced AI capabilities tailored for both creators and gamers.
Starting this fall, the chip will debut across devices from leading PC brands. Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, announced the plans at the Computex trade show in Taipei, stating, "The PC is being reinvented... With RTX Spark and Microsoft Windows, you ask — and the PC does the work."
RTX Spark combines a microprocessor with a graphics chip and is designed to run on Microsoft’s Windows for Arm operating system. The product targets various users by offering 1 petaflop of AI performance, industry-leading power efficiency, and up to 128GB of unified memory.
This new architecture allows for capabilities such as rendering ultralarge 90GB+ 3D scenes, editing 12K video, generating AI videos in 4K, and playing AAA games at over 100 frames per second.
Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella emphasized their goal, saying, "Our goal is to deliver unmetered intelligence to every home and every desk with Windows." Partnership with companies like Adobe also ensures that applications like Photoshop and Premiere will use RTX Spark’s capabilities to deliver 2x faster AI and graphics performance.
