- The death toll from the Bhote Koshi flood-related disaster has risen to 626, with 2,426 people still missing, according to Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA).
- The Karnataka government informed that 17 people, including Infosys Public Services CEO Lax Gopisetty, remained untraceable in Nepal following the floods and landslides.
- So far, 4,451 people have been rescued, including 191 from hydropower tunnels and 517 evacuated by air on Saturday; 129 foreign nationals have also been rescued.
- Among the missing, 27 are Nepal Police personnel, 45 are Nepal Army personnel, 13 are from the Armed Police Force, 15 are Customs Office personnel, and 4 are Immigration Office personnel.
- Rasuwa reported 562 missing people, Nuwakot 115, and 933 people linked to hydropower projects are missing, while 65 are missing from Makwanpur.
- NDRRMA said 517 foreign nationals and 127 Nepali citizens residing abroad were reported missing, and 3 people from Langtang National Park were also missing.
- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said, “We are tracing people… many are not tracked. Information about 17 persons needs to be obtained; it is not available.”
- The highest death toll was in Chitwan with 233 deaths, followed by Nawalparasi East (158), Nuwakot (51), Gorkha (48), Nawalparasi West (47), Dhading (45), Tanahun (31), and Rasuwa (13).

Chitwan has recorded the highest fatalities, with 233 bodies recovered, followed by Nawalparasi East with 158 deaths. The situation remains dire, with 101 injured individuals currently receiving medical treatment. So far, 4,451 people have been rescued, including 191 from hydropower tunnels and 517 evacuated by air on Saturday. Rescue operations are ongoing, with 16 helicopters conducting 99 sorties to assist in the efforts.349
