- 72 Street, a Mumbai-based SEBI registered research analyst platform, has raised Rs 4 crore from angel investors and ultra high net worth individuals.
72 Street, founded in late 2025 by Rohit Agarwal and Fal Ghancha, has successfully raised ₹4 crore to enhance its investment research offerings. Agarwal, with over 20 years in investor advisory, and Ghancha, a former CISO at JioBlackRock AMC, lead the company.1
The platform utilizes Venty, an AI-powered research tool that analyzes over 3,800 NSE and BSE listed stocks using fundamental, technical, and sentiment indicators. Venty can identify chart patterns and candlestick formations, providing investors with insights in under 20 seconds. Each insight is reviewed by SEBI-registered analysts before publication.
Currently focused on equities research, 72 Street aims to expand into futures and options (F&O), model portfolios, commodities, and mutual funds. The company is also pursuing registration as a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser, which would enable it to offer personalized investment advice to individual investors. This strategic move is expected to enhance its service offerings and market reach.
“The funding round was backed by angel investors and ultra high net worth individuals, signaling confidence in the platform's expansion beyond traditional research. 72 Street's move into F&O, model portfolios, and commodities broadens its offerings for retail investors.”
