The MSCI India Index is set to undergo significant changes, with Adani Energy Solutions, Lenskart, and Billionbrains Garage Ventures being added. This adjustment reflects MSCI's latest review, which will take effect on August 31, 2026.1
In addition to these additions, three companies -- Astral Ltd, Balkrishna Industries, and SBI Cards and Payment Services -- will be removed from the index. The inclusion of Billionbrains Garage Ventures is notable as it is the parent company of the digital investment platform Groww.4
In a separate review for the MSCI Global Small Cap index, 14 companies will be added, including Amagi Media Labs, Ather Energy, and WeWork India Management. Meanwhile, 19 companies will exit, such as Aurionpro Solutions and Mastek Ltd.
