Maruti Suzuki set a new record in July 2026, achieving domestic sales of 200,123 units, marking the first time the company surpassed the 200,000-unit threshold. This milestone reflects a 42.36% year-on-year increase from 140,570 units in July 2025.1

The surge in sales was driven by robust demand across all vehicle segments. The mini car segment, featuring models like the Alto and S-Presso, saw the highest growth at 85.19% year-on-year, totaling 12,634 units. Meanwhile, the compact and mid-size car category, including the Baleno, Swift, Dzire, and WagonR, grew by 37.94% to 90,822 units. The utility vehicle segment, which includes the Brezza, Fronx, and Grand Vitara, increased by 49.42% to 78,851 units.

Overall, Maruti Suzuki's total domestic passenger vehicle sales reached 196,203 units, up from 137,776 units last July. The company also reported sales to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) rose by 36.91% to 11,242 units, while exports dipped 5.32% to 30,056 units.

In total, Maruti Suzuki's overall volumes, including domestic and exports, rose 33.73% year-on-year to 241,421 units from 180,526 units in July 2025. This performance underscores the company's strong market position and consumer trust in its diverse vehicle offerings.
