Marantz's CINEMA Series 2 introduces a trio of AV receivers designed for enhanced audio and gaming experiences. The CINEMA 50, priced at $3,000, is the flagship model, offering 9.4 channels of amplification and 8 HDMI inputs supporting 8K video.56
The CINEMA 60 serves as the mid-range option at $2,000, delivering 7.4 channels and 100 watts per channel, while the compact CINEMA 70s is priced at $1,500 and designed for smaller spaces, providing 50 watts per channel.7
All models feature a new 32-bit, eight-channel DAC for improved audio quality and support 1440p pass-through and AMD FreeSync for gamers. A future firmware update will enhance the HEOS platform for better multi-room functionality.34
Additionally, Dirac Live Room Correction is now available for the CINEMA 60 and 70s, previously exclusive to the flagship model. The CINEMA 50 also includes a Channel Expander and Center Bi-Amp mode for clearer dialogue.12
All models will be available starting August 12, with the CINEMA 70s following on September 15. Marantz emphasizes that these receivers are designed to elevate home theater experiences with advanced sound quality and connectivity options.
